Principal SAP BW Consultant

 You will be expected to get involved in a variety of interesting and varied projects, working with an exceptional group of consultants with plenty of opportunities to increase your skill set.  The majority of work will be based on client sites, helping them solve their BI problems however there will also be the opportunity to get involved in a number of internal initiatives and Sales activities.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Broad Industry knowledge and thought leadership in the BI arena. 
  • Strong product knowledge of SAP BI products and SAP BI Certification.
  • Knowledge of the SAP Business Objects products a definite advantage.
  • Solid SAP Netweaver BI experience– this means that he/she has to have 4-6yrs experience with BW at recent releases and should be able to demonstrate mastery of: R/3 Extractors, DBconnect, Data modelling, Transformations, Process chains, Master data, Aggregates, Performance tuning, Query writing etc.
  • 4+ project lifecycles with Blue chip clients i.e. FTSE 100 or Fortune 500.
  • Ideally some exposure to MDM, Enterprise Portal, JavaScript, HTML, ABAP.
  • Understanding of Data Warehousing principals (Inmon, Kimble etc.) and SAP best practice.
  • Team leadership and good project management experience.
  • Presales experience and a strong client network advantageous.

  • Strong intellectual capability (for ex. A 2:1 degree or higher from a well-respected university or other equivalent)
