SAP BW Support Consultant (Office Based)

Duties and responsibilities: Daily duties will include the following

  • Suggest technical solutions to a wide range of issues in your area of speciality.
  • Have an understanding of other related technical areas
  • Go on site to gather requirements and design solutions
  • Manage and develop/run a piece of work from end to end
  • Effectively report the status to your line manager and know when to escalate issues
  • Understand and enforce processes and procedures
  • Give internal training to the rest of the group if required
  • Add technical input to pre-sales
  • Identify opportunities within existing clients
  • Act as a mentor/buddy to other employees
  • Act as an escalation point to other members of the team
  • NetWeaver BI 7.x or SAP BusinessObjects certification.
  • Implementation & Support experience.
  • Ideally 1 or more of the following:
    • ABAP experience.
    • Planning (BPS / IP / BPC) experience
    • Business Objects experience
